This is a very interesting Tissot Seastar from the late 70s - early 80s.
It has been personalized for the truck company Steyr to be offered as a gift to one for their customers. You can see the logo on the dial and the engraving "Für 100'000km mit Steyr" (For 100000km with Steyr) on the case back.
The whole watch is in very good condition and shows very few signs of wear. It is totally original with a very nice blue tapestry dial, applied indexes baton hands with tritium lume and date window at 3. The style is interestingly similar to the original Patek Philippe Nautilus.
It is powered by the first in house quartz movement produced by Tissot in it's slightly upgraded version, the caliber 2031. It's running perfectly!
The case measures 35mm without crown, 41mm lug to lug, 10mm thick with a 19mm lug width.
It comes with a new NATO strap as shown on the pictures.
The watch is located in, and shipped from, Geneva, Switzerland. Shipping is done through priority mail (Swiss Post) with tracking number. Importation fees are the buyer's responsibility.
The water resistance is not tested. I advice not to wear a vintage watch around water even if it was originally waterproof. I describe the watch as it is now. I can't provide any guarantee about the future as it is an old mechanical instrument and I don't know its service history.
